Mitja Gradišnik is a professional pool billiards coach from Slovenia, internationally recognized for his work in developing youth athletes, elite competitors, and national teams. With more than 15 years of coaching experience, he is the founder of PoolSchool Gradišnik and a certified EPBF Level 2 coach and PBIA master coach -  currently in the proccess of opening his own Sporting Academy in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Throughout his career, Mitja has coached and helped players to European and World Championship podiums and titles in Heyball and pool, across all major categories - men, women, juniors, wheelchair athletes, and standing athletes with disabilities. His athletes have achieved more than 30 medals at major international events, establishing him as one of the leading developers of competitive players in Europe.

Beyond individual coaching, Mitja is deeply involved in coach education and system development. He has delivered seminars and training camps across Europe and is actively contributing to the growth of structured coaching methodologies in billiards, combining technical precision, tactical understanding, and mental performance frameworks.

His coaching philosophy is rooted in long-term athlete development, personal responsibility, and clarity under pressure. Known for his direct, honest, and practical approach, Mitja focuses on building complete players - technically sound, mentally resilient, and competition-ready.
